How the numbers here are made
Every figure on this site links to where it came from and shows the date we last checked it. Nothing is estimated, averaged or rounded into shape.
Last checked
We publish 36 sourced figures: 22 from official regulators and 14 from named industry price guides. Each one carries a source link, a checked date and an expiry date, and each is labelled as official or industry wherever it appears.
Where the figures come from
- Insurance rules: the Dubai Health Authority's published Table of Benefits for the Essential Benefits Plan and the authority's own insurance pages. These are marked official.
- Advertising rules: the DHA standard for medical advertisement content and the circulars issued by Qatar's Department of Healthcare Professions. Also official.
- Prices: published price guides. Our main price source says its ranges rest on the DOH Mandatory Tariff (Shafafiya) methodology, DHA DRG parameters and market-observed data, data as of March 2026. A price is never a regulator's tariff, and we never present it as one.
What we will not publish
- A price we cannot link to a published source. Gaps stay gaps: Doha and Kuwait City have no price rows today.
- Clinic names, ratings, rankings or recommendations of any kind.
- Before-and-after images, patient photographs or testimonials.
- Brand names for implants or aligners. You are buying treatment, not a trademark.
- Any claim about what a treatment will do for you. That is your dentist's territory.
The rules we build to
This site is not a health facility and holds no health authority licence, but it publishes health price information in markets where advertising is regulated, so we follow the same standards. The DHA standard applies to all DHA licensed facilities and professionals, and we use three of its clauses as our own editorial lines: no absolute or exaggerated claims, since "the best", "safest", "100%" and "immediate results" must not be used; no claims that one provider is better than another, since no claims of superiority over other providers; and disclosure of paid relationships, since paid relationships must be disclosed.
How we keep figures current
Every figure has an expiry date. Before each update we run a check that lists anything past that date. Expired figures are re-verified at the source, or they come off the site. Price ranges expire faster than regulations, because they move faster.
How this site is paid for
Two ways, both stated plainly. Patients can ask for a quote, and we may pass that request to licensed dental clinics who pay us for the introduction. We also build websites for clinics. Neither changes a published price on this site, and no clinic can buy a mention, because we do not mention clinics.
